Your reservation is forwarded to our representative and the most suitable vehicle is prepared for you. All rental information will be sent to you. With your rental details, you can either pick up the vehicle from our office or benefit from our airport meet and greet service.

At the end of the rental period, you can return the vehicle to our office. You can also contact our representatives for delivery to a different location.

Rental Terms and Conditions

The General Rental and Vehicle Delivery Terms that apply between us (Car Rental Fethiye) and the Renter (Customer).

1. Your Agreement With Us

By signing this agreement, you accept our Rental Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully. If there are any points you do not understand, you may ask the office staff where you made the rental.

If you have any complaints or questions about your rental upon your return, please state them before closing the rental contract. If you cannot find answers to your questions or resolve your issue at the office where you rented the vehicle, please write to our customer service department at our head office within 45 days.

Car Rental Fethiye will not accept responsibility if this procedure is not followed.

Required Documents and Conditions for Rental

To rent a vehicle, the driver’s license and age requirements for the renter and additional drivers are as follows:
Economy class: At least 2 years of valid driving license and minimum 21 years old
Lower–mid class: At least 2 years of valid driving license and minimum 24 years old
Mid class: At least 2 years of valid driving license and minimum 26 years old
Upper and luxury class: At least 3 years of valid driving license and minimum 28 years old

Driver’s License
Users who do not use a Latin alphabet driving license (Russia, China, Arab countries, Greece, etc.) must present their valid international driving permit and passport (if they are not a citizen of the Republic of Türkiye) along with their driving license at the time of rental.

Vehicle Group
Your reservation is confirmed with a vehicle group guarantee. There is no brand guarantee. However, when you arrive at the relevant office, you may receive one of the vehicle brands in the reserved group depending on availability.

Credit Card – Payment Conditions
During the rental, a security deposit ranging between 1,000 TL and 4,000 TL depending on the vehicle group and deductible amounts will be blocked on a valid credit card issued in your name. Depending on banking procedures, the release of the blocked amount to your account will be possible after the rental period ends, provided that there is no additional payment obligation. For international credit cards, this process may take up to 7 business days due to international banking procedures. This delay is not caused by Car Rental Fethiye, but by banking operations. Cash deposits are not accepted in offices. If there is not sufficient credit limit including the rental fee, if a valid credit card in the renter’s name cannot be presented, or if the driver’s license conditions are not met, the vehicle will not be delivered even if the reservation is confirmed.

Rental Period
The rental period is calculated based on 24-hour periods. Monthly rentals are calculated over 30 days. Your rental starts from the time stated on the rental contract, and every 24-hour period counts as one rental day. According to international standards, up to 24 hours from the time written on the rental contract is counted as one day. For delays up to 59 minutes beyond 24 hours, no additional daily rental fee will be charged. For delays exceeding 59 minutes, a daily rental fee will be charged (including daily calculated services such as navigation, additional driver, insurance, child seat, etc.).

One Way Rentals
If the pick-up and drop-off stations are in different cities during the reservation, a one-way fee determined by Car Rental Fethiye will be charged according to the distance and conditions between the two stations.

Vehicle Pick-Up or Drop-Off Outside Office Working Hours
If you wish to pick up or return your vehicle outside office working hours, you must pay 50.00 TL + 18% VAT. If both the pick-up and drop-off times are outside office working hours, this fee will be charged separately for each service. For this service request, an agreement must be made with the relevant office depending on office and staff availability. If the pick-up and drop-off stations are in different cities during the reservation, a one-way fee determined by Car Rental Fethiye will be charged according to the distance and conditions between the two stations.

Extension
The renter is obliged to inform the relevant office at least 1 day (24 hours) before the end of the rental period if they wish to extend the rental period of the vehicle. The extension request can only be completed with the approval of the relevant rental office. The extension fee may be charged according to the Car Rental Fethiye price list and the conditions of the agreement. For extensions made without the approval of Car Rental Fethiye offices, a one-time penalty fee of 100.00 TL + 18% VAT will be applied in addition to the rental fee.

Online Reservation Conditions, Reservation Changes, Cancellation and No-Show
For prepaid reservations, the rental date, time, and vehicle information cannot be updated or changed. If a reservation change is requested, the reservation must be cancelled first. The cancellation and refund conditions stated below will apply. After the cancellation, a new reservation can be made according to the requested change. The discount obtained through prepaid reservation cannot be combined with another campaign. If the rental period exceeds the return date stated on the reservation form in a rental made with a prepaid reservation, the additional cost resulting from the extension will be charged from the credit card presented at the beginning of the rental, according to the Car Rental Fethiye list prices valid on the extension date.

Unused Days
No refund will be made for reservations that are returned earlier than the scheduled return date. Any request for a change regarding the return date must be made before the rental starts, through the Car Rental Fethiye central reservation department or the relevant office. Requests for changes made at the beginning of the rental or after the rental has started will be considered invalid.

2. Responsibilities of the Renter and Additional Driver

a) The vehicle, its accessories, and the key (and other keys if provided) are your responsibility. You must keep the vehicle locked whenever it is not in use, and if a security device is provided or installed in the vehicle, you must use it. You must protect the vehicle from adverse weather conditions that may cause damage. Make sure you use the correct and appropriate fuel. Check the oil and engine temperature levels, and keep the tire pressure at the required level.

b) It is your responsibility to drive the vehicle safely and in accordance with road conditions and speed limits.

c) During the rental period, as the “owner” of the vehicle, you must use the vehicle in accordance with the Highway Traffic Law No. 2918 dated 13.10.1983 and the Traffic Regulations No. 26901. You are responsible for any offenses, parking tickets, or traffic fines that may occur later. In addition, if requested, you are obliged to provide all requested information about yourself and any additional driver with you. If you fail to provide this information completely and accurately, all responsibility will belong to you. Due to the obligations explained in this paragraph, the rental contract will remain valid until the vehicle is returned to us. All vehicles in our fleet are equipped with HGS (Highway Toll System). After your rental period ends, your HGS usage information will be received by our offices, and the toll fee will be charged to your credit card. Since the toll collection process depends on the General Directorate of Highways, the charge may sometimes be collected later than usual. If you pass through OGS toll booths with our vehicles equipped with HGS, it will be considered an unauthorized toll passage. In this case, the penalty fee for unauthorized toll passage (as with other traffic violations) will be paid by Car Rental Fethiye to the relevant government authorities and then charged to the credit card presented during the rental process.

d) You are responsible for any damage caused by hitting low areas such as bridges or pits, as well as damage caused by using the vehicle in mountainous terrain, off-road areas, swamps, or on beaches. You are also responsible for any damage resulting from water entering the engine or other parts of the vehicle due to such use. You must not make any modifications to the vehicle. For roof luggage carriers or bicycle transport racks, please contact our offices. Any installations made without our approval are your responsibility.

e) You cannot sell, rent, or transfer the vehicle or any of its parts. You cannot grant any legal rights over the vehicle to another person, nor can you transfer your own rights. For safety reasons, you must not refill brake, clutch, transmission oils, or engine coolant fluids under any circumstances. If any warning light appears on the dashboard or low oil levels are detected, you must contact us immediately.

f) You must not allow any person to work on the vehicle without our written permission. If we approve such work, we will reimburse you for the expenses, provided that you document the costs related to the work performed.

g) If you detect any malfunction or problem with the vehicle, you must inform us immediately.

h) You must return the vehicle to the location agreed with us in advance and during our normal working hours. The condition of the vehicle must be checked and received by our employees or authorized persons. If you are unable to check the condition of the vehicle or if we have agreed that the vehicle will be returned outside working hours, you will be responsible for any damages that may occur until the condition of the vehicle is determined by our authorized personnel within 4 hours from the beginning of the next working day.

i) The renter is responsible for any damages caused by modifications made to the vehicle without our approval. You will also be responsible for the costs required to restore the vehicle to its condition before the rental, including extra repair time, materials, or tools required. If the interior of the vehicle is damaged, or if any electrical or electronic devices used inside or connected to the vehicle cause damage, the renter will be responsible for the resulting loss or damage. Please use any devices in accordance with their user manuals and consult the office staff for information if necessary.

3. Personal Belongings
At the end of the rental, please check whether you have any personal belongings inside the vehicle. The renter is responsible for any personal items forgotten in the vehicle.

4. Conditions Required to Use the Vehicle
The conditions that the renter or additional drivers specified in the contract must comply with are stated below:
You must not use the vehicle for racing, speeding, testing the vehicle’s endurance or speed, or teaching someone else how to drive.
You must not drive the vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
You must not use the vehicle outside the borders of Türkiye unless we provide written permission.
You must not carry more passengers than the stated passenger capacity of the vehicle.
You and the other drivers specified in the contract must not use the vehicle to push or tow another vehicle or object, whether moving or stationary, unless we provide written approval (except for vehicles equipped with towing hooks provided by Car Rental Fethiye; maximum load 1,000 kg).
You must not use the vehicle to transport passengers or goods in exchange for any direct or indirect income.
You must not use the vehicle to transport materials that violate customs regulations or other laws, or for any illegal activities.
You must not transport flammable or hazardous materials, as well as toxic, corrosive, radioactive, or other harmful substances.
You must not carry any item that may damage the vehicle due to its smell or condition, or cause Car Rental Fethiye to lose time or money before renting the vehicle again, including the transportation of live animals (except pets, provided that prior permission is obtained from Car Rental Fethiye).
You must not use roof racks, luggage carriers, or similar equipment unless they are supplied by Car Rental Fethiye.
You must not allow the vehicle to be re-rented or used by other persons.
You must not use the vehicle to transport passengers for hire or reward.
You must not participate in rallies, competitions, or trials anywhere, or give driving lessons with the vehicle.
You must not drive the vehicle on non-asphalt roads or on roads where the surface or repair condition may endanger the vehicle’s wheels, tires, or the mechanical components under the chassis.
None of the goods or luggage carried in the vehicle (including packing and stacking equipment) may damage the vehicle or put passengers at abnormal risk.
You must comply with the Highway Law, road traffic laws, and other applicable legal regulations.

5. Fees

The fees to be paid are as follows:

a) The rental and other charges specified in this vehicle delivery document.

b) All fees, damages, losses, expenses, costs, or liabilities arising from failure to comply with the rules specified in the section “Your Responsibilities”.

c) Fuel Refilling Service Fee
Our vehicles are delivered with a full tank unless otherwise stated, and you are required to return the vehicle with the same fuel level.
If the fuel level is lower than the level at the beginning of the rental, the fuel cost will be charged according to the amount stated in the Vehicle Delivery Form, or according to the price stated in the printed brochures available at the rental office, or based on the current pump fuel prices plus 45.00 TL + 18% service fee.

d) All toll fees (bridges, highways, ferries, etc.), traffic fines, and court expenses resulting from parking violations or other traffic offenses (including costs arising from the vehicle being impounded), and any damages resulting from the confiscation of the vehicle.

i. Any penalty or fee requested by an authority.

ii. Traffic fines paid on your behalf or any related costs will be collected with the legal discounted amount plus a 45.00 TL + 18% VAT service fee.

iii. HGS (Highway Toll System) usage during your rental period will be charged after the rental period with a 6.00 TL + 18% VAT service fee.

iv. A 100.00 TL + 18% VAT damage service fee will be charged for processes such as managing the vehicle service process due to damage (may vary depending on the selected protection package).

vi. During the winter season, vehicles equipped with winter tires will be charged 20.00 TL + 18% VAT per day, with a maximum charge of 200 TL + 18% VAT.

e) Repair costs for damages not stated in the Vehicle Condition Report at the time of rental, regardless of whether you are at fault or not, the replacement cost of the vehicle in case of theft, and the charges arising in accordance with the insurance protections specified at the beginning of the rental (explained in Article 6).

f) Loss of use fee corresponding to the repair period of damages caused by user error, or the waiting period (45 days) required for payment of the vehicle value in case of theft.

g) Damages resulting from the vehicle being detained by law enforcement authorities for any reason, and the rental loss for the days when the vehicle cannot be rented out.

h) Any costs arising from delivering and collecting the vehicle.

i) If you fail to pay your debt on time, a late payment penalty will be applied according to the Central Bank’s monthly credit interest rates.

j) VAT and other taxes applied to the above-mentioned fees (including changes in VAT rates or officially announced additional taxes).

6. Our Damage Protection Program
Information regarding our protection packages is provided below. These descriptions are general and for informational purposes only. Car Rental Fethiye reserves the right to modify this information at any time. The protections included in your reservation are stated in your price quotation and/or reservation confirmation.
Protection packages that are not included in your price can be purchased at our sales offices at the start of the rental. Detailed information regarding applicable limits can also be obtained from our sales offices.

a) Personal Accident Insurance (PAI)
This protection covers the driver and passengers in the vehicle within the specified limits. It is calculated based on the number of seats in the vehicle. If you purchase this daily per-person coverage, it will be indicated separately in the contract.

b) We have a legal obligation to provide insurance coverage against third parties. In the event of an accident where you injure or cause the death of a person or cause material damage to property, the officially determined traffic insurance limits will apply (for property damage, the limits under traffic insurance coverage will apply).
By purchasing IMM coverage, you can obtain additional protection above the legal limits covered by traffic insurance for third parties in possible accidents.

c) If you have purchased CDW / THW (Collision Damage Waiver – Theft Protection Package) as indicated on the Vehicle Delivery Form, damages to the vehicle or theft of the vehicle are covered under our protection.
However, since this protection includes an excess (deductible), you are required to pay a partial amount in case of damage. You will be responsible for paying the current deductible amount stated on the Vehicle Delivery Form or in our brochures and documents.
You can obtain detailed information regarding damage deductibles and protection packages from our offices or reservation center.

d) If you purchase the LCF protection package, the following damages will be covered without requiring a traffic accident: Tire punctures and tears, Broken windows, Front headlights, Signal lights, Exterior mirrors

Situations Not Covered by Damage Protection Packages
Any accident caused while the driver is under the influence of alcohol above the legal limit or drugs
If the vehicle is impounded by traffic authorities due to the driver
Damage to the underside of the vehicle (starter rod, oil sump, etc.) without an accident
Burning of seat upholstery, spilling liquids inside the vehicle, or returning the vehicle excessively dirty
Damages resulting from using the vehicle in mountainous areas, sand, marshes, beaches, or roads unsuitable for traffic, or using the vehicle contrary to its intended purpose, including rallies, speed tests, motor sports, or driving in closed traffic areas
Damages determined and reported by authorized service centers to have resulted from carelessness, negligence, or excessive strain are the responsibility of the renter
Theft of personal belongings from the vehicle, theft or loss of the vehicle key, dropping the key into water, and loss of vehicle license documents, license plates, tools, hubcaps, spare tires, or rented additional equipment
Accidents or damages caused by a driver not listed in the contract
Damages resulting from natural disasters
Damages caused by transporting animals in the vehicle without a cage
All mechanical and electrical damages, including but not limited to damages caused by driver error, negligence, or misuse, such as: incorrect gear shifting resulting in transmission damage, continuing to drive despite warning lights on the dashboard, 
Damages caused by vandalism, terrorism, or social disturbances
Expenses or damages resulting from incorrect or incomplete information provided during the rental
Force majeure


IN BOTH SINGLE-PARTY AND TWO-PARTY TRAFFIC ACCIDENTS, THE RENTER MUST OBTAIN AN ACCIDENT REPORT AND AN ALCOHOL TEST REPORT. IF THESE REPORTS ARE NOT PREPARED, THE RENTER WILL BE FULLY RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL DAMAGES.



Important Notes
In the event of an accident, the vehicle must not be moved, and an accident report must be prepared according to the circumstances of the accident, or the nearest police or gendarmerie station must be contacted immediately (within 24 hours) to obtain accident, theft, and alcohol test reports. It is also mandatory to inform the 24/7 Full Support Line at xxx xxx xxx xxxx.

In case the vehicle is stolen, the nearest police or gendarmerie station must be notified immediately and within 24 hours, and the 24/7 Full Support Line at xxx xxx xxxx must be informed.

Otherwise, all purchased protections will be considered invalid, and all damages, including material and moral damages to third parties, will be collected from the renter.

If the vehicle breaks down or assistance is needed for any reason, help must be requested through the 24/7 support line at xxx xxx xxxx.

  • Please ensure that the Vehicle Delivery and Return Form is completed and signed by both parties at the beginning and end of the rental.

  • To extend the rental period or inform about the return time and date, please contact the office where the rental was made or our reservation center.

  • In case of an accident, vehicle breakdown, or any need for assistance during the rental, please call our Full Support Line at xxx xxx xxxx.

  • In the event of a single-vehicle accident, the vehicle must not be moved, and the nearest police or gendarmerie station must be contacted to obtain accident, theft, and alcohol test reports.

  • In two-vehicle accidents, except for the situations listed below, drivers must fill out the Material Damage Traffic Accident Report according to the instructions on the report form.

In two-vehicle accidents, a traffic accident report is prepared by traffic police only in the following situations:

Actions to Take in Case of an Accident

Situations Where a Police or Gendarmerie Report Is Required

In two-party accidents, obtain a copy or clear image of the driver's license, vehicle registration, and traffic insurance policies of the other party/parties.

If the driver is underage

Take multiple photos of the accident scene showing the location and vehicle license plates

Do not leave the vehicle without taking sufficient safety precautions

If there is suspicion of mental incapacity or alcohol use

If the driver does not have a valid driver's license

If one of the vehicles involved belongs to a public institution

If public property has been damaged

If the accident caused damage only to property belonging to third parties

If one of the vehicles involved does not have traffic insurance

If the accident resulted in death or injury

If you cannot reach an agreement with the other driver about the accident

7. Termination of the Contract

If you fail to comply with the main conditions stated below, we may terminate the contract unilaterally.

a) If you are a final consumer, the contract will be automatically terminated without notice if rental fees are not paid on time. In this case, the renter must immediately return the vehicle. If the vehicle is not returned, the renter formally accepts and undertakes that they have committed the offense of breach of trust. If we determine that any of your assets have been seized or such a situation has been officially notified to you, we may terminate this contract unilaterally.

b) If you are a commercial company, we may terminate the contract unilaterally in the following situations: If your company is in liquidation, under trusteeship, your assets are under custody, or under legal enforcement, If you have initiated legal proceedings to reach an agreement with creditors, If we determine that your assets have been seized due to debts, If you fail to comply with the terms of this contract

c) Termination of this contract will not affect our right to collect your outstanding debts arising from this contract. If you fail to comply with the main requirements of this agreement, we reserve the right to charge additional fees. We may repossess the vehicle and charge additional fees resulting from this situation.

d) After termination of this contract, even if the agreement has ended, you accept that you are responsible for keeping the vehicle safe and delivering it to the nearest office.

8. Jurisdiction
This contract shall be interpreted according to the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. In case of any dispute, the laws of Türkiye and the Fethiye Enforcement Offices and Courts shall have jurisdiction, and I hereby acknowledge and accept this.
